Hand Applique With Sandi Cannarella

Sandi is an award winning quilter.  She is fun, energetic, creative and very knowledgeable in applique and quilting.   If you are at all interested in hand applique then this is the class to take!

Learn to applique using freezer paper and spray starch to achieve smooth and accurate curves, inside angles and sharp points, and then learn to hide your stitches.

There is a $5.00 kit fee payable to Sandi at class.

Each student must have own their own craft iron, stiletto, Roxanne's glue, thimble if you like using one. Students need to have their project materials ready before class starts. The kits Sandi provides are for learning the technique only.

___ Needles
___ Small craft iron such as Clover Mini Iron
___ Spray starch, stencil brush (small stiff-bristled)
___ Freezer paper (found in grocery stores, in foil and plastic wraps aisle)
___ Scissors - for paper and fabric
___ Stiletto tool for applique
___ Thread of 50-100 weight such as Superior Bottom Line
___ Fabrics
___ Fine point Sharpie Pen or Identi Pen or Fine point Micro Pen
