About Us
Hello, my name is Pagen Lewis. I live in sunny So. Cal. with my husband (the shop husband) and 2 miniature dachshunds, that run the house. Our 5 adult children, our so-in-law and 3 grandchildren, thankfully all live locally.
I have been a longarm quilter since 2001, (back when there weren’t stitch regulators or computers). I longarm quilted for customers from my home while I was still working a full-time job, out of the home. After a lot of research, hoping, praying and pondering, in 2003 I opened a brick-and-mortar quilt shop, Quilter’s Cocoon in Riverside, Ca. We were a full-service quilt shop, continuing to offer longarm quilting and a retailer for Handi Quilter Longarm machines. We vended at International Quilt Market and Festival shows selling our tuffet kits and patterns with fusible interfacing. We vended at Road to Ca. for many years for our shop and with Handi Quilter.
In 2024 after almost 22 years in business, we decided it was time to retire our shop, time to slow down a little. We closed our brick-and-mortar quilt shop in October 2024. I am continuing to do what was my first love in the quilting world, the longarm quilting. I am now longarm quilting from my home. I offer convenient drop off and pick up or you can mail your quilt to me. We have quilted thousands upon thousands of quilts over the years.
I quilt on a Handi Quilter Infinity 26 with ProStitcher. I love being able to quilt from my home. Not having the shop to tend to gives me the opportunity to put all my focus and attention on your quilt. I do offer batting and binding service for your convenience.
Thank you to the many quilters I currently quilt for. To those of you I’m not currently longarm quilting for, give me a try, I think you’ll be happy you did.
