Hazel Hedgehog & Thistle
Each month we will meet to make an animal from the Fancy Forest quilt. We have kits and patterns available at the shop. The kit is made with mainly Kaffe Fassett's fabrics, Kona solids, and a few Moda fabrics. Or make it with your favorite fabrics. There are two sizes: Twin or Baby/Wall hanging. You can do either size or turn an individual animal into a whole quilt. We have patterns available for individual animal too.
In this second workshop, we will be making Hazel the Hedgehog and Thistle blocks since they are similar. The pattern is Fancy Forest designed by Elizabeth Hartman.
What to bring to class:
~ Fabrics and pattern
~ Sewing machine in good working order, pedal, cords, etc.
~ Rotary cutter, mat, several different sizes of rulers
~ Thread, Scissors, Seam Ripper, Best Press, etc.
~ Frixion pen or fabric marking pen
~ Gallon-sized plastic bag or bins or trays to keep your project organized
Please have your fabrics cut at least one block of Hedgehog and Thistle before class.
